Stitched and Bound – An Exhibition of Contemporary Quilts
Stitched and Bound showcased innovative contemporary quilts which extended the artform beyond current technical and conceptual boundaries. It included work by artists who did not consider themselves quiltmakers, and whose works challenged the accepted notion of works such as quilt and craft.
Arts’_Edge & Anemone
Arts’_Edge consisted of five computers hosting fourteen CD-ROM and website works which challenged perceptions of newly emerging forms of multimedia art. The eighteen artists (both national and international) came from diverse backgrounds as writing, poetry, film, sound, painting, philosophy, and performance, all of which happened to be working with interactive forms in this instance.
