Arts’_Edge & Anemone

Arts'_Edge consisted of five computers hosting fourteen CD-ROM and website works which challenged perceptions of newly emerging forms of multimedia art. The eighteen artists (both national and international) came from diverse backgrounds as writing, poetry, film, sound, painting, philosophy, and performance, all of which happened to be working with interactive forms in this instance. Anemone was a screening program of twelve short contemporary digital animation and digital video art works produced by Australian artists. The Anemone program was a survey of innovative and interesting digital animation/video works produced nationally, and in 1999. Featuring: Melinda Rackham: Line.
