Away From Home
Away from Home was a collaborative exhibition of eleven mature graduates from Curtin University School of Art. The exhibition demonstrated their individual approaches to contemporary art practice, exploring themes that reflected their varied backgrounds and interests. They chose to undertake this exploration through painting, mixed media, printmaking and photography.

The artists and curator, all non-indigenous migrants to the Pilbara, acknowledged that their own presence, their recreational activities and the towns that they live in, are all interventions on this ancient landscape.
