Two Laws
Two Laws consisted of a series of paintings by two artists, Rusty Peters, a Gidja man born on Springvale Station, east of Turkey Creek in WA, and Peter Adsett, originally from Gisborne in New Zealand, who relocated to Humpty Doo, south-east of Darwin. Together they painted a series comprising 14 canvases.
Armlinks
62 artists and craftspeople from 25 towns and communities around the Northern Territory joined together to show their cultural traditions through the linking theme of the ‘armband’. The exhibition represented both traditional and contemporary practice from Indigenous and non- indigenous artists alike.
