Art as a social document
The notion that art works are intrinsically social documents were highlighted in this exhibition. It illustrated that artists are products of their time and circumstances, and as a consequence, the art work that they create reflects this in various ways. Wonderland – the Dream and Reality
24 works were selected from the permanent collection of the Art Gallery of Western Australia, which explored artists’ changing vision of the Australian landscape through the theme of ‘Dream and Reality’. The Art Gallery of Western Australia contracted NETS WA to advise on the planning and to co-ordinate the transport for this tour.
