Art as a social document

The notion that art works are intrinsically social documents were highlighted in this exhibition. It illustrated that artists are products of their time and circumstances, and as a consequence, the art work that they create reflects this in various ways. This exhibition contained works by Alun Leach-Jones, Brian Blanchflower, Guy Grey-Smith, Russell Drysdale, Mary Moore, Howard Taylor, Fred Williams, Danila Vassilieff.
