A springboard for emerging visual arts workers

We are pleased to announce a new partnership with Minderoo Foundation to grow local career pathways for visual arts professionals.

CREATIVE PATHWAYS is a new program from ART ON THE MOVE that offers paid traineeships and accredited training—supporting emerging visual arts workers to take the next step in their careers while staying connected to their regional communities.

Hosted by galleries and arts and cultural organisations with a visual arts program, trainees will receive mentorship and hands-on experience in arts administration. This could include programming, production and curating, marketing, exhibition management and installation and touring logistics.

Traineeships will run as one-year placements, commencing in the second half of 2026 and again in the second half of 2027.
