The Sportsman’s Suite: Mark Howlett Foundation Prints 1991 – 2011

The Mark Howlett Foundation (MHF) touring exhibition showcased a selection of exquisite artworks produced by 13 reputable Western Australian artists over a 20 year period. The artists involved were Penny Bovell, Mary Dudin, Galliano Fardin, Susan Flavell, George Haynes, Giles Hohnen, Bevan Honey, Jeremy Kirwan-Ward, Theo Koning, Eveline Kotai, Jane Martin, Trevor Richards, and Trevor Vickers.

For the late Mark Howlett the term ‘Sportsman’ embodied friendship. The Sportsman’s Suite was the title given to the 15th and final MHF print project and epitomised the MHF business model built on the camaraderie developed between artists, subscribers and the MHF Board:
