In and Out of Town

This exhibition was a selection of photographs by Chris Rowett which illustrated the book In and Out of Town, celebrating Narrogin's centenary of local government. The photographs portrayed contemporary life in one area of regional Western Australia, This project also received funding from Healthway, the Gordon Darling Foundation and the Town and Shire of Narrogin. "What is often taken for granted in every day life can provide an abundant variety of both pictorial and verbal images for people to enjoy. These images not only provide historical record but also an understanding and awareness of a way of life, which is interesting to both those who do and those who do not live within that community” Chris Rowett
