Join two esteemed photographers in a masterclass that explores the power of portraiture and photography.

Debbie Carmody (Kalgoorlie-Boulder) will open the day with a discussion on photography and protest within her own practice. Debbie will share techniques she has developed in her vast experience as a filmmaker and photographer/artist.

Cole Baxter (Perth/Boorloo) will then give a practical demonstration, in which participants will learn how to build a simple home studio for portrait photography. Participants are asked to bring a subject to photograph, and their own camera for the exercise.
