Beyond the Grid

This exhibition documented the parallel development of Andrew Leslie and Jurek Wybraniec's work since the early nineties. At that time both artists, quite independently from each other, changed radically the direction of their practice and started producing non- figurative, constructivist works situated at the crossroads between painting, sculpture and installation. In this exhibition, their approach was centred on a rigorous investigation of the conditions under which the process of seeing is constructed.
