17th Annual Fremantle Print Award

This highly respected national print award drew participants from all over Australia and was comprised of conventional and innovative printmaking of all types, including for the first year unique state prints. The exhibition was selected by Roger Butler, Curator of Australian Prints National Gallery of Australia, Judith Dinham, Artist and Senior Lecturer in Visual Enquiry and Drawing, Edith Cowan University and Ted Snell Artist, Critic and Senior Lecturer in Visual Arts, Curtin University of Technology. Explanatory panels dealt with the history and technical aspects of the media, and an educational package accompanied the exhibition.
