Parallels – Selections from the Sculpture Survey 95 Gomboc Gallery
Parallels, the touring exhibition was drawn from The Sculpture Survey 95 initiated by Gomboc Gallery. The survey incorporated an Invitation exhibition plus open call & student sections. Parallels was a distillation of all its aspects, presenting 20 works by established and emerging sculptors, and video documentation of the installation works which were unable to travel.
Against the Grain
Against the Grain spanned over 40 years of Burns’ creative life and included three hundred and fifty A3 images that recorded previous works that used interactivity, surveillance, performance, film, TV, and video. Screening alongside the static images were three films made in super-8 and 16mm format; Against the Grain, Why Cars? CAARnage! and Luke’s Party.…
