Adornments, Art on an Intimate Scale
This exhibition was relaxed in its attitude to the conventional notion of jewellery, none of the participating artists worked primarily as jewellers. They skilfully adapted their working practices to produce small, precious boxed objects. A range of materials and craft disciplines are not traditionally associated with wearables: including photography, ceramics, papermaking and painting.
